Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Caturra, Main Rd Sea Point - ★★★★

Choco Chococino : R26
Those familiar with IKEA will love this DIY chocolate cappucino with a chocolate cup inside a cup and a jug of layered coffee, milk, and froth. It's worth it for the experience, watching the choco choc melt as you pour burning lava over the unsuspecting cocoa carcass.
The flavour is a little disappointing - just regular melting chocolate. Pout! Gimme dark chocolate or even milk chocolate.

Cappuccino : R15
Slightly flat flavour requiring a little brown sugar to bring out the caramel of the roast.

The atmosphere is lovely with natural wood all round; service is friendly and spot on.
Surprisingly quiet for a main-road coffee joint, good place to hook up.
