Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Caveau, Bree Street - ★★★★

Cappuccino : R16
Quite bitter dark roast with a hint of caramel.
The stylish cups are flawed by tiny handles.
Enter the cave, Igor, and if you can find your way to the center you will find a delightful foresty courtyard shielded from the heat and traffic outside.
A spot if ever there was one, and there's a model agency next door so be sure to ask the waiter to wipe the cocaine from the table before sitting down.
Service is fine-dining level, food is a little pricey, and excellent cheffy tapas abound. This is a wine cellar (seller?) and the wine list is a hefty read.
