Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Myatt Chocolate Bar, Waterfront, ★★★★★

Cappuccino : R14
This is one seriously delicious cuppa cino! Full body, complex flavour with just the right amount of caramel and subtle bitter. Yum. The teeny macaroon is delicious and delicately chewy.
A coffee joint that sells chocolates per bite and has sugarcubes on the table is going to be masterful.
Oh my hat, Myatt has great service, great eats, great coffee!
Add extra colourful macaroons for R15 each. Expensive, but each one is a little masterpiece and worth discussing and comparing and sharing.

  2. They have actual food there? Didn't notice much after filling my eyeballs with the chocolate and cupcake selection.
I tried a cunning truffle that tasted of ... truffles!
It is a lovely spot, I love the bubble swinging chairs. So 60's!
