Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Sotano Beach Rd Mouille Point _★★

Cappuccino with crema R16(Origin)
A perfectly roasted cup of sunlight to brighten any day, though served in a small ladies cup. More please!
There's NO CAKE, only dessert, with slightly stale crust. The full name is Sotano by Caveau; (Sotano translates to basement more than cave). The L looks like a T so a bit of identity crisis.
Music is a pleasant fusion of housy mambo which apparently makes the waiters a little dozy. Mediterranean wood furniture outside and a few posh brit couches inside. The menu and vibe can't decide if it's spanish or british, more identity issues, but a good selection to appeal to anyone.
A lovely view of the promenade and relatively tasty food. An eligible relaxed coffee or wine spot no matter how you cross your t's and dot your i's.
