La Petite Tarte, Cape Quarter, WC, *****

Cappuccino with crema (Koffieman) R18
A slutty little cup smothered in a distinctly nutty crema, even the price seems age restricted. Nice little aftertaste from the pleasant medium roast.
Slowish service, yet the cafe is packed, perhaps they are all waiting for their friendly maitre. There is a carafe of lemon-mint water to sip while you wait, though.
Rustic kombuis / Edwardian fusion decor, a strange yet appealing match. Some tasty warm little tarts on display, quiches and other dishes with fresh herbs. The philosophy is definitely a smallish menu done parfait de Francais.
