Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

il Paninaro, V&A Waterfront - ☢

Cappuccino : R22 (Tomeucci)
There is something in common with this cup and an Italian masterpiece - they both taste the same! Bring your paintbrushes! This bitter, extremely turpentine brew won't go down well but it may clean the muck off your paint rags. The cup says Caffe Tomeucci, and it's almost right, because this cup is going to give you a tummy achy!
They even give you the world's longest spoon to help scrape down the boats in the harbour while cleaning them.

Service is quick but completely uncompromising on extras. Don't expect to swap anything for anything, it's against the law. The atmosphere is great outdoorsy, under roof. Live music outside, Reggae or light music inside.
A great spot ruined by a caffeine chemical spill.
