Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

San Marco, Waterfront, Cape Town - ★★★

Cappuccino with milk froth : R18. Chocolate Biscotti! Yum!
An outdoor view of boats and Table mountain. Lovely. Must visit at night.
Bar One Cheesecake: R38 - expensive but very yummy.
Food is fine dining quality with good value.
Music: Putamaya Mambo.

The cup is perhaps Ming Dynasty, though I suspect Japanese because I can't fit even my delicate fingers through the tiny hole in the handle.
Coffee is slightly burnt, not too horrific for a cappuccino in relation to e.g. The Bosnian War; the resulting caramel undercurrent makes up for an overbaked bean. Bittersweet memories.
