A bitter roast needing one sugar to bring out the flavour. Foam is quite deep but has a good flavour, almost reminds me of toasted marshmallows.
Fruit cheesecake is delicious, not too caky, not too cheesy, just right. The Chicca on the tables is a bit slow, distracted, and loud, and staff tend to complain and discuss the workings of the place at full volume all the time, which brings down the coffee zen. News on the TV, newspapers on the tables. An okay morning spot if you can stand the feuding. Good value for money.
Chicco's also sell little packets of various coffee blends, not a bad idea.

They have the worst Americano I've ever paid money for! Couldn't drink more than 3 sips. And yeah, as mentioned above, the vibe is terrible.
ReplyDeleteAlways found them friendly and pleasant. Coffee is good but not wonderful. Lots of locals stop by so suggests they rate the place.
