Karoo,West Beach,★★★

Cappuccino with foam : R18
Sweetish creamy foam, but coffee flavour is a little lacking in the body department. 1 Sugar is needed to bring out the roast.
The menu has Karoo everything (naturally) so was half expecting the cappuccino to have Karoo milk, but alas just regular foam.
Food is a bit pricy (except the burgers) but there is a complementary salad buffet.
The decor is great, with a few soft booths. Our waiter looked like YODA! Waiting for obscure wisdom were we.

Dessert is... nice, though I've never had peppermint crisp tart with a side order of sour cream before.

Teeny Macchiato : R16
A shooter of slightly flat espresso with a little cream roof. There is some flavour there but not exciting, kindof like a karoo town.
