Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Krugmann's Grill, Waterfront, _★★★★

Cappuccino with foam R16 (Importers Italian)
The marshmallowy texture and aroma of the foam contrasts strongly with the slightly burnt and woody deep roast. The wood theme carries right into the coffee! Not unpleasantly chemical but does need half a sugar to round out the bitter spike.
Solid wood interior; a waterfall; a large wine cabinet; delicious freshly baked bread and softened butter, hot towels, these little touches make Krugmann's a little special.
Each table has a different theme under the glass, from corks to coffee beans to rocks and cloth.
Service is excellent and polite. Prices are reasonable considering the good quality and presentation, especially the mashed potato! Yum.
