A very hot, slightly watery brew. There is a subtle chocolatey aroma that doesn't carry into the cup. Flavour is lightly chemical at high temperature settling down into an average dry woodiness and then ending up a pleasant roast beanness only for the last few sips - all the trademarks of a rushed barista.
Sushi is heavily priced at R10-R20 per bite, or R8 per bite for california rolls. The same for the wine - expect to pay R50+ for the average mug of cape plonk.
Decor is battered garden tables with plastic silver rattan chairs and a flower in a cracked vase/ashtray . Classy. Inside is a little better with a nice bar and some couches.
Service is good when you can get it.
