Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Jive Eastern Food Hall, Longmarket Street, WC ****

Cappuccino with foam (Caturra) R10
A rich bitter, slightly caramel foam on on a hot dancing cup of Nirvana, efficiently poured. The rich milky brew is a welcome sedative to a hot curry.
The food and coffee here are CHEAP! Literally half the price of anywhere else. The communal food counters really pay off to pull the customers.
Every kind of popular food flavour from around the orient, enough to explore for a year. Pay before you eat, so you can relax.
The eating hall is buzzing all day, so get there before 12 to avoid the queues at the counters and get a seat. Lots of traditional decor, and wonderfully apt music.
