Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

The Coffee Showroom, Sea Point,WC, ***

Cappuccino with crema ("award winning" house blend, though we don't get told which award)
A sweet medium-dark roast that is probably a mix of Origin and El Cheapo, but slightly watered down. A pleasant cup though.
Not much coffee on display, and a few little cupcakes and a lonely croissant under glass try to tempt the palette. For display only?
Awkward self service means you may lose your seat after you order, and only a few 4-6 seater tables so be prepared to share. It's literally 2m to the furthest table and with 2 staff the self service is a mystery.
Pretty, demure grey decor. Always full and a tight squeeze.
A prime view of the Spar and Traffic.
