Know a place?

We're genetically programmed to avoid places with bad water. So I dig up the dirt on the best and worst coffee around Cape Town and South Africa.
Been somewhere good? Got a new menu? Find DR on Facebook, leave a comment, and I'll don my hat and investigate.

Eurohaus, Loop street, wc, **

(update - downgraded from 5 stars to 2 stars and a plummet in quality)

Cappuccino with crema (unknown Italian)
While the waiter doesn't know what she's serving I can guess at a deeper Truth. A full body rich medium roast with sweet undertones like an Italian River, but a rich caramel flavour that does not pale next to the best.
Slightly watered aftertaste but the Truthlike perfect pour is allied with the winners in the Long Street bean wars.
Lots of home made pastries oozing with flavour from natural ingredients, actually so good I almost fainted, and the woody interior make this a cultured destination. Clearly the owner knows their oats and their currentcy (see what I did there?)
Friendly service, with lots of pastry chefs openly making magic, ironically not a european staffington in sight.
